Mission Statement

The St. Pete Bike Co-op is a non-profit organization that provides people of all ages and backgrounds with assistance and instructions on how to repair and maintain bicycles. We are community-centered and volunteer-run. Operating as a cooperative shop, we provide affordable ways to acquire and maintain a bike, offer bicycle related education programs, promote bicycle safety, encourage reuse and recycling, and promote general bicycle advocacy. Our Vision is to make cycling easy, fun and safe in St. Pete.

Description

We have the tools, space, and knowledge to educate and assist with bicycle repair and maintenance. We hope to inspire self-sufficiency through knowledge of bicycle maintenance.

This is a safe space. Any sexism, classism, homophobia or racism will not be tolerated! This is a space where you will not be judged by your gender, sexual orientation, race, class, or the type of bike you ride. You may be judged on your behavior.
