Mission Statement
The TEARS Foundation seeks to compassionately lift a financial burden from families who have lost a child by providing funds to assist with the cost of burial or cremation services. We also offer parents comprehensive bereavement care in the form of grief support groups and peer companions.
Description
Our NJ chapter has been here for 13 years, we have helped hundreds of families throughout the years with not only financial assistance for funeral/cremation/and headstones for their babies, but we also offer support groups every month as well. We are a non profit so we earn our funding solely through fundraising. Our main fundraiser for the year is the Rock and Walk. We hold two a year, one for our Northern/Central NJ families, and one for our southern NJ families. Lat year, between both walks, we raised about $50,000!
