Amahoro International is an organization that provides a platform for African refugees to development skills and the mind-set required to be leaders in Africa. Mukarabe and Makinto are inspiring leaders helping refugees feel empowered and to find healing and self-worth to pursue their dreams to be self-sufficient and contribute to the well-being of their community. We have been making progress in Bombo, Uganda for over 7 years, but the work to help orphans in Burundi and to educate people in America about Africa has been the mission of Amahoro International for over 20 years.
