The role of the Fundraising Chair, which is a volunteer position; is to ensure efficient funds are continually being raised, while simultaneously overseeing fundraising activities. They would creatively generate revenue through grants, recurring donors, as well as securing new supporters; to sustain the monthly and annual financial goals for Beautiful Broken Vessels. The Fundraising Chair will work in tandem with the Treasurer to make sure the annual Operating/Net Working Capital goals are steadily met. They will construct and provide monthly reports for the Board meetings as well as potential grant funders. It is the responsibility of the Fundraising Chair to work in conjunction with the Marketing Chair to promote events to the general public and other tasks that may arise.

Recruitment Chair The Recruitment committee member is responsible for building relationships within the community, churches and area schools to increase knowledge of the organization; while simultaneously increasing participant and donor connections. Through building these relationships, the recruitment member will provide an avenue for the Founder/Director to hold presentations about Beautiful Broken Vessels; to build rapport with the appropriate community and school leaders. They are responsible for following up with the community, schools and churches to recruit participants for the program, focus groups, etc. The Recruitment committee member will construct and provide monthly reports on the impact made within the community for the Board meetings. It is the responsibility of the Recruitment member to work in conjunction with the Marketing Chair to promote events to the general public and other tasks that may arise. Beautiful Broken Vessels encourages you to use any and all available resources, create and bring in referrals, help build Beautiful Broken Vessels credibility and expand our organization's recognition within the community. Your duties as Recruitment Chair: ● Form and oversee Recruitment Committees as needed ○ Guidelines are provided ● Facilitate communication between staff, committee, and board ● Oversee presentations to build rapport and recognition within the community ● Maintain a running contact list of community organization leaders ● Responsible for providing pamphlets and other information to different community organizations ● Create and present reports to the Board of Directors monthly ● Stay in contact with President and Board Chair on duties and tasks assigned ● Work alongside Fundraising Chair, Marketing Chair and Program Director

The secretary for Beautiful Broken Vessels plays a critical role in fostering communication and ensuring proper management and utilization of important organizational records. The secretary will give proper notice of any meetings and timely distribution of materials such as agendas and meeting minutes. The secretary should be knowledgeable of the organization’s records and related materials, and should be able to provide advice and resources to the board on relevant topics at issue, such as particular governance matters being addressed at a meeting or a new amendment to state corporate law, for example. The secretary should aim to be helpful to the board as they discharge their fiduciary duties. It may be helpful for the secretary to have a calendar of filing deadlines, which may include a filing with the corporation’s Secretary of State, the Attorney General, the state tax agency, and the IRS. The secretary is responsible for reviewing and updating documents as necessary and ensuring all documents are safely stored and readily accessible for inspection by directors and/or members. T he Secretary also plans, develops and enforces policies and objectives for the organization; ensuring it maintains its values, while meeting the established goals.

We are looking for someone to immediately fill the roll as our Marketing Committee Chair. They will report directly to the President of the Board of Directors. This person(s) would be responsible for assigning tasks to the committee, presenting reports at the quarterly and annual board meetings. This person(s) will have experience in Comms as well as Development, making sure our social media, blogs, email marketing and more are in line with the vision and mission of the organization, while bringing awareness, brining donors and participants to the organization. This person(s) would meet regularly with the president, as well as schedule meetings with their team, making sure tasks are being assigned and delegated appropriately.
