Mission Statement

The Rage Fund is on a mission to identify, promote, and implement solutions to foster a more inclusive and diversely-able world.

Description

The Rage Fund is starting its work by addressing issues and obstacles commonly faced by people living with physical disabilities. We are setting out to expand the number of people working as in-home care providers (personal care workers, direct hired workers, private duty nurses, etc.). To achieve this, The Rage Fund is implementing the RAGE4CARE initiative, which will aim to create a broader community-based caregiver workforce by:

  • using social media to promote what makes the profession desirable
  • fostering relationships with academic and training institutions that will create awareness of the vocation of community-based caregivers
  • giving voice to new incentives that will increase the number of people interested in filling the role/doing the work

We are also developing RAGE4INFO, an app that will begin as a portal of information for all avenues of becoming an in-home care provider (personal hire workers, direct hired workers, private duty nurses, etc.) in any location within the Midwest. This is a central hub of everything someone needs to know to pursue a career as an in-home care provider.

The Rage Fund will move swiftly to expand RAGE4INFO with a second portal for information about the disability support services available in all 50 states.

We are looking for a high energy candidate like you to help us promote our social media accounts and increase engagement.
