Mission Statement

The Courtroom Accountability Project is a Florida nonprofit private investigative organization. Our organization provides free investigative support to victims of police misconduct and domestic violence survivors. We provide licensed private investigators and trained staff to assist in investigations, serve as witnesses, obtain records and act as advocates for our clients at public hearings and in private meetings with public officials. We also provide auditing and testing of law enforcement agencies for the public and the police. We use social media platforms to advance our client's cases.

Description

Our organization, The Courtroom Accountability Project (formerly Policeabuse.com) is a national non-profit organization based out of Florida. Our organization has been providing investigative support to victims of police misconduct for over 25 years. Our Founder, Mr. Diop Kamau aka Don Jackson is a pioneer in the field of police brutality, police misconduct investigative services. Don Jackson is an American civil rights activist and a retired Los Angeles County police detective. He is the man behind filming two of the nation's most pernicious dimensions of policing namely: bias-based profiling and the widespread refusal by the police to properly document serious allegations of abuse and egregious misconduct.
