To recycle and distribute donated medical equipment and supplies free of charge to those who may otherwise go without.

Description

PSMA’s mission is simple; we seek to build community health and resilience by providing medical equipment and supplies to those in need, free of cost, to improve their quality of life. To support PSMA is to support the health, healing and independence of thousands of individuals throughout Southern Arizona and Sonora, Mexico, including tribal nations such as the Tohono O’odham and the Pascua Yaqui. Operating out of a 5,000-square-foot distribution center, PSMA distributes over 100,000 lbs. of medical equipment and supplies each year. These are life-changing materials that would otherwise end up in landfills, dumps or recycling centers. Thanks to our relationships with hospitals, churches, thrift stores, government agencies, other nonprofits and individuals, we can provide a wide range of goods, including everything from bandages and toothbrushes to diabetic supplies and wheelchairs.
