Mission Statement
Laskey’s Lucky Ones & Volunteers (LLOV) is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of all breeds of abused, neglected and displaced dogs in the Metro Atlanta area. Licensed by the Department of Agriculture, LLOV is also devoted to promoting and facilitating responsible pet ownership within our communities through access to low cost vetting options, food pantries and education on the alternatives to the tethering of dogs. We serve the entire metro area, but prioritize the under-served areas of South Fulton and adjacent counties.
Description
LLOV is a total rehabilitation rescue. We address not only the physical rehabilitation of the dogs in our care, but their emotional and behavioral needs as well. LLOV will provide basic vetting needs, such as alteration, vaccinations, diagnostics and treatment of illness, as well as provide behavioral training with our long-time partner Frogs to Dogs and their team of certified trainers and veterinary partners.
Entirely led and driven by volunteers, LLOV relies on the generous commitment of time and donations from our Board members, volunteer partners, foster families and the community at large. LLOV values the life of every animal and we work cooperatively with animal control and other animal advocacy groups to educate, empower and enable owners to provide the appropriate care to keep their pets safe, healthy and happy.
