Mission Statement
The ILI continuously generates and implements innovative strategies for change that make it possible for more people and the planet to thrive, through increases in social equity and nonviolence. We call it liberatory change because we believe that liberation is not a goal, but a direction, that change never stops, and that new thinking and new paths will always be necessary.
Description
Our work spans social sectors and pockets of social activity. Currently, we provide innovative resources through our Equity Scholar in Residence model to address critical gaps in current approaches to advancing social equity in K-12 schools.
We are seeking volunteer research participants to take part in our Multi-Racial Relationships Project, which seeks to understand the wisdom in multi-racial families.
