Do you value the work of hospice, but rather not visit patients? Share your office or organization skills with Three Oaks Hospice and assist us with mailing letters, newsletters, greeting cards, help answer phones, make calls to Caregivers, create packets/binders, organize activities and events for hospice patients and their families. No experience required and some opportunities can be completed at home. Three Oaks Hospice has many other opportunities for volunteering, as well. Training and orientation will be arranged to fit to your schedule. This is a flexible schedule and can be as many hours as you are able/willing to volunteer. Three Oaks Hospice is looking for a compassionate volunteer who is willing to visit patients and play an instrument, such as a Violin, Keyboard, Guitar, etc. or sing to cheer up our Patients. Music has so many wonderful affects from cheering someone up to allowing them to go back in time and reminisce. This is a flexible schedule and can be as many hours as you are able/willing to volunteer. People on hospice benefit from the companionship of volunteers. Sit with patients, hold their hand, listen to music, watch TV, read, play games, share stories, and just spend your precious time in their presence. Three Oaks Hospice has many other opportunities for volunteering, as well. Training and orientation will be arranged to fit to your schedule. Your caring and companionship ensures patients will have quality at the end of their life. We have flexible hours, will write letters of recommendation, be a referral, and we are willing to do a Non-Paid Internship. This is a flexible schedule and can be as many hours as you are able/willing to volunteer. Support our veterans by providing companionship and friendship through regular visits. Our volunteers offer their time and being present for the patient, reading, talking, playing music, or assisting with non-medical tasks. Our volunteers also share their experiences and stories, hold a hand, provide support by listening, or offer words of comfort. Veterans have a special bond with each other and we want to introduce veteran patients to volunteer veterans. This is a flexible schedule and can be as many hours as you are able/willing to volunteer.
