Mission Statement
7hills has a robust history in the Northwest Arkansas area. Though our programs and team have changed over the years, our commitment to our community and to our clients has always remained at the center of all we do. Everyone deserves a place to call home.
Description
Founded in 2001, 7hills began as a day center, providing meals, clothing, food, hygiene items, and other basic needs resources to people experiencing homelessness. Over the years, we expanded to provide more services at our Day Center, in addition to adding a wide variety of re-housing programs in an effort to be a part of a sustainable solution to end homelessness. In 2007, we built the Walker Family Residential Community to expand affordable housing options for our clients. Today, this community continues to provide transitional housing and permanent supportive housing to individuals and families experiencing homelessness. It is no longer a stand-alone program, but falls under our HOPE program, which provides three different types of re-housing services, including the two offered at our Walker Community, and a scattered-site rapid re-housing option. This enables us to serve a wide range of individuals with varying levels of assistance.
