Overview: Public relations interns will be responsible for reaching out to prospective podcast guests on our organization's financial literacy podcast, "Money Moves" with Gen-Z for Financial Literacy, and potential board members for our organization's advisory board. Public relations interns will also be responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and potentially running meetings with potential podcast guests/advisory board members. They will also be responsible for networking with other similar organizations and putting out public statements if the need arises. Required Skills: 1) ability to write effectively and turn ideas into written down words, 2) ability to communicate and network with others, especially over email and other professional platforms Required Experience: Experience with LinkedIn is preferred, but not mandated. Previous experience working with other organizations or companies is also not required.

Overview: Social media interns will be tasked with managing our organization's social media page. More specifically, they will be generating content to be posted on our Instagram (@genzforfinlit), engaging with other accounts to boost viewership and profile engagement, deciding when to post and what to post, and continuing to expand our organization's movement over social media. Required Skills: 1) ability to design eye-catching, engaging social media content (both feed posts and stories), 2) ability to assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns, 3) ability to create weekly and monthly posting calendars, 4) ability to track and use social media analytics to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability Required Experience: Experience with Canva, the design platform our organization primarily uses, is preferred but not mandated. Previous experience working with other organizations or companies is also not required.

Writers will also be tasked with reviewing important emails before they're sent, and finding qualified individuals to translate our newsletters into a multitude of different languages to widen the accessibility of our impact. Overview: Finance interns will be tasked with organizing a list of possible sponsors that have programs ready to sponsor a non-profit like us! Finance interns will familiarize themselves with our financial management system (Dash) and our fiscal sponsor (Hack+). Interns will also be responsible for creating a budget for possible expenditures and coordinating with our current sponsors. Required Skills: 1) ability to create detailed budgets with care and precision, 2) ability to communicate with other team members and potential sponsors over various mediums. Required Experience: No experience is required to apply. It is preferred that you have some experience working with sponsors or public relations, but most skills can be acquired when you begin.

Overview: One of our organization's primary goals is to make personal finance classes a required part of high school curriculums. Phone and emailing banking interns will be responsible for reaching out to elected officials in states that do not already required personal finance classes. They will be responsible for conveying the importance of financial literacy in today's youth, whether it be over the phone or via email. Required Skills: 1) ability to speak and communicate effectively, 2) ability to write in a way that is both understandable and impactful, 3) ability to work with other phone and email banking interns to coordinate efforts and impact the maximum number of people. Required Experience: Experience in public relations or email/phone banking is preferred, but not mandated. Previous experience working with other organizations or companies is also not required.
