Description

Xico is recognized nationally as one of the most important grassroots organizations in the Southwest and has received many grant awards from the National Endowment of the Arts and most recently the Virginia C. Piper Foundation. Xico formerly Xicanindio Artists Coalition, has evolved over the past 40 years while holding on to the founders' vision. Today through artist cultivation and promotion we continue to expand our programing of monoprinting and monosilk, to include lithography, laser and 3D printing. Xico also is proud to have one of the first printmaking programs on wheels! Say Yes to the Press brings the art of printmaking to underserved youth in Title 1 schools and community events throughout Metropolitan Phoenix and surrounding areas.
