C.A.M.P was formed in 2018. We provide FREE application assistance for families applying for the Katie Beckett and NOW/COMP Medicaid waivers for children with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities, meeting an institutional. Many of our families have had to pay very expensive medical bills not initially knowing that there was a Medicaid program designed for families whose incomes are above the threshold to qualify for low-income Medicaid. The Katie Beckett and NOW/COMP Medicaid waiver programs are specifically for these families who have children who'll require life long medical care due to their disabilities. By making our services free for these families in their plight to acquire a Medicaid waiver for their children to offset the expensive, but medically necessary, healthcare they need, we save families tens of thousands of dollars each year after being approved for a Medicaid waiver which will pay for their children's healthcare services by making it more affordable, or in some instances, completely FREE. The money we save families helps them to have the quality of life they deserve without having to sacrifice so much financially, and more importantly, their children have access to the critical, life saving medical services they deserve.
