Overview We are a small but mighty non profit organization in Detroit with big goals. We are looking for a motivated and organized Volunteer Coordinator to help us make those goals a reality. The Volunteer Coordinator will be an integral part of our team, responsible for recruiting and managing volunteers. Responsibilities Recruit and manage volunteers, including onboarding and training for concession stands Develop recruitment strategies to attract volunteers Train and orient volunteers on concession stand operations Establish and maintain positive relationships with volunteers Monitor volunteer attendance and performance Liaise with management to ensure proper staffing of concession stands Develop strategies to increase volunteer engagement and motivation Maintain accurate records of volunteer hours Monitor policies and procedures for volunteers, including guidelines for proper conduct and safety Develop and implement strategies to recognize and reward volunteers Monitor volunteer attendance and performance, providing feedback and guidance as needed Qualifications Previous experience managing volunteers Excellent organizational skills Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing Passion for the mission of our non profit Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Ability to motivate and inspire volunteers Ability to work independently and take initiative Proficiency in Google Suite / Microsoft Office Suite and database Join our Team!
