Mission Statement

At Hand, Hoof, and Heart our mission is to inspire and support personal growth, raise awareness, and promote inclusivity. Through the use of animal and nature-based programs, we are able to build on the concept of animal-facilitated learning as a therapeutic outlet meant to improve physical, social, emotional, or cognitive functioning

Description

Hand, Hoof, and Heart has proudly provided therapeutic animal-assisted programs for people with and without disabilities in the Cobb and Cherokee County areas since 2013. Our programs provide therapeutic recreational opportunities for those that may learn differently than others and not feel comfortable participating in mainstream recreation. We work with people of all ages and abilities. Our programs are focused on working with horses and other farm animals, building friendships, and supporting personal growth. We currently offer therapeutic horseback riding, unmounted horsemanship and inclusive summer camps.

Hand, Hoof and Heart was selected as 2021 Acworth Reader's Choice best equestrian facility.
