Mission Statement
Pink Ribbon Girls provides healthy meals, rides to treatment, housecleaning services, cancer education and peer support to breast cancer and gynecological cancer patients and their families, independent of age, stage or socio-economic status and is free of charge.
Description
Our organization was founded by breast cancer survivors who have a passion for supporting and empowering others who are currently in the fight against breast and gynecological cancers. We strive to balance the fear and uncertainty that breast and gynecological cancers bring to individuals and families by providing free direct services to those throughout Central, Midwest, and Southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky, St. Louis, Missouri and Southwestern Illinois area, and the Bay Area, California.
Our service pillars include:
- Healthy Meals - Healthy meals are prepared by Sunbasket and delivered to the client’s doorstep.
- Rides to Treatment - Rides to treatment provided by trained transportation specialists or Uber Health (region specific).
- Housecleaning Services - Light housecleaning provided by professionally bonded and insured cleaning services.
- Peer Support and Education - A variety of virtual and in-person peer support and educational opportunities, events and programs.
