Mission Statement

Oregon Military Museum inspires and educates visitors about Oregon's military heritage and legacy, including the National Guard, the state's early militia, and all branches of the Armed Forces.

Oregon Military Museum is located at the Oregon National Guard’s Camp Withycombe in Clackamas, OR. Part of the Oregon Military Department, the museum closed in 2008 and has since moved into its new site and currently in preparation of offering new exhibits, programs, and services once opened to the public. OMM plans to open its two historic buildings to the public in May 2022, along with special events through Fall 2022. OMM will have its Grand Opening of the completed Museum and its exhibits, archives, and library in Summer 2023. As we prepare for opening, OMM is excited to offer training, appreciation, and other perks to new volunteers who can help make the Museum available and welcome to all visitors. OMM Volunteers will help make opening to the public possible!
