Our mission is to contribute necessary mental strengths and knowledge needed to progress through each individual's transition. We promote forward movement to help transgender adolescents cope with the inevitable challenges they will face within our society and within themselves.
Description
TA is a summer camp program for trans teens who aspire to learn powerful coping skills that will help them live in a society that does not always understand them. Each unique travel destination will contain activities specific to the camp location.
TARR’s program consists of traditional and non-traditional camp activities with a focus on mental health disparities. Teens are encouraged to engage in a variety of outdoor programs/ activities as well as daily stress reducing conversations to highlight strengths and the positive outcomes from facing challenges.
