Mission Statement
Texas Eco Alliance is on a mission to protect the nature in our community and to improve the lives of our future generations by teaching this generation how to live sustainably. We do this by hosting park cleanup events, teaching our community how to fit sustainable practices in their life, the proper way to recycle in your area, and cool facts about Texas’ native flora and fauna.
Description
Texas Eco Alliance was founded when our leaders realized we had overlapping passions for the environment. Wanting to make the world a better place is a common trait among our leadership, and we found a way to do that and inspire others to do the same. In 2020 we cleaned 4 parks and had to take a break when Covid spiked. But in 2021 we took off and hosted 31 events! We collaborated with some amazing groups like the Greater Fort Worth Sierra Club, the American conservation coalition the Fairmount Trash Pirates, Dallas Cred, and the Clean the block Initiative.
