Organization needs an individual who delivers excellent service to all members, guests, and program participants. Responds to members needs, promotes memberships and programs. Performs various tasks and responsibilities that contribute to the ongoing success of the organization. Responsibilities Applies ROY’s (mission, vision, motto, and values) when dealing with member services. Builds relationships with members; helps members connect with one another and to the Restoring. Our. Youth. Organization. Handles and resolves membership concerns and informs the Chief Executive Assistant of unusual situations or unresolved issues. Communicates and works with other departments. Handle additional tasks as needed Work as a team member; respect fellow ROY members/ and be professional in communications Develop positive relationships with members fostering an atmosphere of respect, open to correction, operational excellences, teamwork, and striving for excellence. Be outgoing and take the initiative to build committed and connected long-term relationships with members Go the extra mile to make each members’ experience at the ROY organization a pleasant one Support social and recreational activities for the youth with the purpose of recruiting and retaining youth in the initiative and providing opportunities for positive engagement Paperwork, signing up for programs Attend required staff meetings and trainings designated by the Chief Executive Assistant Qualifications High school diploma/ GED required Possess excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills. Ability to connect with people of diverse backgrounds. Open to modelling the ROY’s mission, vision, motto, and values. Willing to reach out to the Chief Executive Assistant to gain support and make proper decisions when in doubt Must work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends (as needed). Should work effectively with high-risk populations. Must prioritize tasks and work independently in the absence of supervision. Ability to motivate and coach members towards restoration. Possess excellent crisis/conflict management skills and/or willing to learn. Operate a computer to enter necessary data on the behalf of the ROY organization. (*When assigned to do so by the Chief Executive Assistant) Demonstrates leadership skills Ability to multitask, take initiative, have organizational skills, and have a teamwork mentality. We are seeking a fun Dance Program Director who will provide leadership to ensure that Restoring.Our.Youth.Organization Inc. is fulfilling its mission and goals. The position works closely with the entire dance program staff and leaders who are responsible for assisting in running a successful dance program operation. The Dance Program Director responsibilities will include a program instructional in the arts of dance and overall performance programming strategic plan for the program. The Dance Program Director provides direction for and management oversight of all members and leaders of the program, including budgeting, financial planning and reporting, human resources, board relations, fundraising, communications and marketing, planning and coordination of performances and events, facilities management, and volunteer management. The Dance Program Director directly supervises an administrative staff consisting of full time, part time and contracted volunteer employees. Purpose: Reporting directly to the President and Executive Director, the Executive Assistant provides executive support in a one-on-one working relationship. The Executive Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the President. The Executive Assistant also provides support to the executive and senior management teams; organizes and coordinates executive outreach and external relations efforts; and oversees special projects. The Executive Assistant must be creative and enjoy working within a small, entrepreneurial environment that is mission-driven, results-driven and community oriented. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. The Executive Assistant will have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion. Supervisor: This individual is to report directly to the President/Executive Director. Restoring.Our.Youth.Organization - Position Description for Executive Assistant to President Executive Support ● Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the President and executive team including: managing several active calendars of appointments; composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling documents for travel- related meetings. ● Plans, coordinates and ensures the executive team’s schedules are followed and respected. Provides a "gatekeeper" role, creating win-win situations for direct access to the President's time. ● Communicates directly, and on behalf of the President and executive team, with Board members, investors, partners, and others, on matters related to executive programmatic initiatives. ● Provides a bridge for smooth communication between the executive team and external contacts. ● Works closely and effectively with the President to keep him/her well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately. ● Successfully completes critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including drafting acknowledgement letters, personal correspondence, and other tasks that facilitate the President's ability to effectively lead the company. ● Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures. Administrative Support ● Assists in coordinating the agenda of executive and senior management team meetings and off-sites. ● Answer main phone and relay messages for the President of the the organization ● Greet guests in a professional manner ● Assists in the planning and execution of officewide events such as ceremonies, team-building initiatives, etc. Note: Must be located in the United States of America, preferably in the Chicagoland area.

Restoring.Our.Youth.Organization believes that with the right opportunities and support, vulnerable youth can overcome the circumstances of their vulnerability and begin to be restored. Under the supervision of the EVP of Operations, this position implements Restoring.Our.Youth Organization’s mentoring initiatives and supports youth through the footprint process and plans. The Director of Community Outreach & Engagement recruits, screens, trains, matches, and supervises volunteer Community Mentors Coordinators & the Event Coordinator directly. The Director of Community Outreach & Engagement works with Restoring Our Youth target communities and ensures Community Mentors Coord. are able to identify youth-mentor matches. Additionally, The Director of Community Outreach & Engement oversees general volunteer efforts and the intake process for new youth members along Help plan Community Events with the Events Coord. to lesson tension in our target communities, promotes togetherness, and have fun.
