Mission Statement
Tails of Hope (TOH) serves as an active member of a lifesaving community by addressing the Root Cause of pet over-population through low-to no-cost spay/neuter programs, TNR programs, and supporting other animal welfare organizations while bringing awareness to animals in need.
Description
PURPOSE:
Tails of Hope (TOH) exists to address the Root Cause of pet overpopulation and the reason many animals are homeless or enter shelters in the first place.
PROGRAMS:
Spay & Neuter Angel Program (SNAP)- In order to ensure that the essential veterinary care services are made reasonably available to the household pets in our area, a Sliding Scale Fee based on household size and income is offered to qualified participants.
Trap-Neuter-Return Program (TNR)-Tails of Hope puts the 'N' in TNR. A reduced price Community Cat package is available for stray or feral cats with no home and no potential of home through our TNR Program. High-volume TNR days are held periodically with funding for up to 100 cats per event.
Student Program-Tails of Hope is also teaching organization for those currently enrolled or interested in enrolling in a Vet Tech or Vet Assistant program.
