The mission of Nebraska Extension is "Helping Nebraskans enhance their lives through research-based education." We are the public outreach and engagement branch of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and we develop and deliver meaningful educational resources and experiences to people of all ages. We have robust portfolios of projects in agriculture, human sciences, disaster education, and community development.

Description

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s AmeriCorps VISTA members’ service projects are engaged in: enhancing access to quality food systems, educating on disaster preparedness and resiliency, and eliminating poverty through land access and sustainability programming for underprivileged farmers across the state of Nebraska.
