About SOAR 4031: SOAR 4031 is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the mental health rehabilitation of formerly incarcerated individuals and their support systems, including families and friends. Our mission is to lower the recidivism rate by providing essential resources and support to those impacted by the criminal justice system. A key focus of our work is on Post Incarceration Syndrome (PICS), a mental health disorder affecting thousands of formerly incarcerated individuals and their families. Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Research Project Call Scheduling Coordinator to assist with our ongoing research project on Post Incarceration Syndrome (PICS) in collaboration with the University of Cincinnati. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth scheduling and coordination of virtual interviews between research participants, interview assistants, and the research team. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and schedule virtual interviews for the PICS research study using Signup Genius. Serve as the primary point of contact for research participants, interview assistants, and the research team to ensure timely and effective communication. Confirm virtual interview times and provide all necessary details, including links, instructions, and technical support, to participants and interview assistants. Monitor the interview schedule to identify and address any potential conflicts or issues. Provide ongoing support to research participants and interview assistants, addressing any questions or concerns they may have. Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of interview schedules, participant information, and communication logs. Collaborate with the research team to ensure all interviews are conducted in a timely and organized manner. Participate in regular team meetings to provide updates on interview scheduling and coordination efforts. Qualifications: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in using online scheduling tools, such as Signup Genius, and familiarity with virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Experience in a research or administrative support role is a plus.
