St. Vincent is a part of Ascension Health whose Mission Statement is as follows: Rooted in the loving ministry of Jesus as healer, we commit ourselves to serving all persons with special attention to those who are poor and vulnerable. Our Catholic health ministry is dedicated to spiritually centered, holistic care which sustains and improves the health of individuals adn communities. We are advocates for a compassionate and just society through our actions and words.

Description

St. Vincent is a major tertiary and acute care center. The Indianapolis Hospital is home to the Indiana Heart Institute, the state's largest cardiac care center. The hospital is also a regional referral center for several specialties, including oncology, maternity services, sleep disorders, orthopedics/sports medicine, neurology/neurosurgery, ophthalmology, hand and microsurgery, laser surgeries, minimally invasive surgeries and occupational health.
