Mission Statement

Our mission is to educate, elevate and empower women and girls ages 12-24 in underrepresented communities. We believe in the transformative power of mentorship. We provide life-changing resources through our leadership, social-emotional, wellness, and life skills curriculums. Our mentoring program supports the mentee’s life aspirations, encouraging them to explore their unique talents and abilities to develop their full potential. When given access to the appropriate resources, young women and girls are empowered to go for the "GOLD" in pursuit of their dreams.

The LifeGold Initiative (LGI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the empowerment and advancement of young women and girls. We know firsthand that women and girls in underrepresented communities encounter many obstacles from childhood to adulthood; low self-esteem, abuse, poverty, lack of emotional support, feelings of inferiority, gender inequality, and lack of education are among the many challenges they face. When provided the appropriate tools and resources, our mentees are empowered to pursue their dreams.
