Description
WEEDO is a nonprofit organization that empowers vulnerable adolescent girls and young women through education and training, our program is one year program that recruits a minimum of 16 girls and a maximum of 30 girls every year. Our training course re Sewing, computer, English, Entrepreneurship, and health and hygiene.
WEEDO opens all the weekdays from 9 am to 5 pm, of course, we have a break for lunch
However, most of the girls participating in the program are facing challenges either walking a very far distance from their homes to the training center or working after classes so that they earn some money to provide for basic things like food. Some of them also work to be able to assist their single mothers or their fathers (if they have one) who are either very old, sick, or unemployed.
