Mission Statement

At Operation Recovery, we serve our nation’s heroes: veterans, first responders, and their families. We do this by providing awareness and support for veterans and first responders through supplies, training, housing, health services as well as community events, and to provide charitable support for distressed Americans and allies of America located abroad.

America’s war in Afghanistan officially ended on August 31, 2021. Our withdrawal from the country left Americans trying to return to the United States and thousands of Allies who were promised a life of freedom and safety if they supported our military. These individuals and their families are now at grave risk and desperately seeking help. Operation Recovery is committed to helping our fellow citizens and allies in any way we can during this unprecedented and historical disaster.

Operation Recovery supports veteran-owned businesses and other organizations coordinating with the US government to provide safe passage, repatriation, and resettlement to Americans and Afghan Allies. We are caring for and protecting thousands in safe houses while thousands more have requested our help.

Operation Recovery (OpReco) and its extensive network have successfully assisted with the evacuation of over 3,500 individuals from Afghanistan since Sept. 2021. We continue to offer support and guidance to more than 4,955 persons, with over 56% consisting of women and children, many with husbands considered high-value targets by the Taliban due to their support and involvement with the US Government.
