VETS - Beyond The Uniform’s (a California Non-Profit Corporation) mission is to provide transformational support for veterans. Our program is designed to reduce veteran unemployment through hands-on coaching, mentoring, and training to support our heroes in their successful integration into the civilian workforce and their new careers.
VETS - Beyond the Uniform program, is a FREE coaching, mentoring, and training program that was developed by military veterans who have succeeded in both the military and civilian workforces. Our primary mission is to help veterans make a successful journey into new civilian careers by building upon the veteran's military skills and the skills taught by the military transition programs.
Our mentors & trainers work with the veterans to help them understand what key military skills they bring to a new civilian career and help to identify any potential gaps in the skills required to be successful in a new workforce. We then provide them with the training to fill any skills gaps, while also coaching them on how to properly adjust into the new culture of a corporate workforce.
We improve each veteran's chances for successful long-term careers by providing the veteran with a wide range of services including specialized assessments, one-on-one coaching & mentoring, video interview packages, and access to hundreds of workshops to support the certifications & skills required in the civilian workforce.
