Mission Statement

Queen Anne’s at Home is dedicated to building a community of Queen Anne’s County seniors who help each other THRIVE in our own homes as long as possible. We do this by offering our members programs and opportunities that support three key principles: EMPOWERMENT, CONNECTION and PURPOSE.

Description

Queen Anne's at Home (QA@H) is where seniors turn when they've decided they want to stay in their own homes as long as possible, but realize this is not going to be a DIY project. We're a 100% volunteer organization of seniors helping seniors, and becoming friends in the process. Sometimes that help looks like empowerment through education, tech support, planning tools and resources. Other times it's finding purpose in helping each other, or connecting to the broader community. It's always about staying connected, engaged, active and curious and having fun! Members of the QA@H community ask for help when we need, and offer help where we can. It's about taking charge of our lives while we help each other. We're committed to changing the narrative about aging!
