Mission Statement

STEPS is a student-founded nonprofit organization that works to bridge the gaps in education in low-income communities. As the name suggests, STEPS aims to be the stepping stones to academic excellence, providing an educational platform to enhance students’ scholastic skills whilst also providing instructional resources for those in need regardless of their social status, location or financial situation.

Description

STEPS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that offers affordable rates for K-8 tutoring services to families and then donates 100% of the profits to students in need in the form of grants, scholarships, and school supplies. We rely on volunteers who act as tutors, brand ambassadors, regional directors, and executive team members to help us work towards achieving our mission. In three years, we have raised and donated over $30,000 to our cause!
