Mission Statement

MAP Network aims to strengthen and connect migrant service providers (generally, non-profits in the community that work with immigrants, refugees, and asylees) in the Greater Boston area. We aim to foster connections and collaborations among service providers, create tools and resources to support providers and their clients, and conduct research around the challenges refugees, immigrants, and asylees and those who provide them services face in the Boston area.

Description

MAP Network is a small but mighty team of passionate folks aiming to help improve the ways that migrants are provided services and support. Some of our bigger projects include developing the Migrant Service Map (www.migrantservicemap.com), regularly meeting with providers to understand their challenges, and researching everything from where migrants live in relation to the locations of providers to mental health resources and needs. We've also just started a project in collaboration with a number of other service providers to investigate and provide resources around migrant interactions with police that we're really excited about! Check out www.bostonmapnetwork.org to learn more about what we do.
