Elara Caring Hospice is in need of compassionate volunteers who are willing to meet with our hospice patients in local nursing homes, assisted living facilities or their own homes. There are several activities that you can do with patients during your visits including providing companionship, playing games, coloring pictures, listening to music, capturing their life story, simply sitting with them, holding their hand, and / or providing support in other ways. Elara Caring Hospice is seeking a caring volunteer to provide companionship visits to our patients who reside in nursing home facilities and private homes in the local area. These visits can consist of playing games, reading to patients, drawing, painting, creative writing, manicures, life stories, or simply holding their hand and providing them with comfort.
