Mission Statement

The HSG UMC Museum & Archives preserves the records and history of St. George's, as well as that of the closed churches of the Eastern PA Conference of the United Methodist Church.

Description

The HSG UMC Museum & Archives is the archival repository for the Eastern PA Conference of the United Methodist Church. The collections includes objects, books, photographs and ephemera related to the history of Methodism in America, and the Methodist churches in the Eastern PA Conference.

The Historic St. George's building is the oldest Methodist church building in America, built in 1769 and has been in continuous use as a Methodist church.
