Mission Statement
Our mission is to alleviate the major public health epidemic of loneliness and social isolation by creating Awareness, Courage & Love chapters in every city and country in order to reach anyone who desires more meaningful connection with self and others.
Description
Awareness, Courage & Love (ACL)Global Project addresses the major public health issue of loneliness and social isolation by training chapter leaders worldwide in ACL principles so they can teach their community members how to meet life's challenges through deepening interpersonal connection and rising to live more true to themselves. We bring the concepts of Functional Analytic Psychotherapy (FAP; co-created by Robert Kohlenberg, PhD and Mavis Tsai, PhD), a treatment using empirically supported principles that focuses on the transformational power of present-moment authentic interactions, to the general public. We aim to nurture and inspire all humans to reach their highest and most loving potential. We have chapters in over 30 countries and six continents.
