I had a great experience volunteering at Bristol Hospice. The volunteer training was thorough, and my managers were invested in ensuring both the volunteers and patients were comfortable throughout the experience. I also appreciated the flexibility of the schedule, which allowed me to visit my patients whenever I had the time. Finally, the most valuable experience was the connections I made with the hospice staff and patients. I feel privileged and honored that I was able to offer comfort and companionship at the end of people's lives.
