What We Need: To create a short (2-3 minute) introductory video about volunteering with our non-profit, Impartial. The video should capture our mission, impact, and the people we serve, providing viewers with a strong understanding of our work and values. To create a short (20-30 second) video for the home page of our e-commerce store. It needs to capture the essence of the type of people that we want to attract - people that care about justice and are willing to take some kind of action to demonstrate their commitment. Creativity and the ability to tell a story visually and engagingly. Skills and Qualifications: Basic experience in video production, including filming and editing. Ability to work collaboratively with the founder to understand our mission, values and message. Passion for storytelling and creating engaging content.

Criminal justice research writer

We are a young criminal justice non-profit that wants to offer compelling research to some of the most pressing issues in our system. Whether you work in the system, are interested in it, a student or enjoy doing research - this is a very dynamic and diverse topic to dig into. There are a vast amount of topics to choose from. We want to collaborate with a variety of writers and researchers that value creating compelling content to interested parties. You could do interviews or search files, go to law schools, there is a wide approach that can be taken. It is up to you to do what you think produces intriguing content. We are an all volunteer organization and very serious about our mission. We are a new US criminal justice 501c3 non-profit that offers memberships, incarcerated artwork and will be offering other products, services, experiences in the future that are designed primarily to create support for the nearly 2800 US criminal justice nonprofits. In order to build out our initial operation and incorporate technology to our ecosystem, we are looking for someone that can identify donors, grants, sponsors or other kinds of support to help with our launch phase. The important thing is to know our mission and find like-minded people that understand we need some initial support and would like to have a long term relationship to help them as we are able to. The fact that we already have our 501c3 and over 1000 pieces of incarcerated artwork along with the awareness that the nation has seen in the last few years, should allow you to engage with people that want to align with us.

Community Manager

Our community manager is the "go to" person in building, managing and developing our community. A community can/should be the life blood of an organization because it is a group of like minded people that are beyond interested in the mission of the non-profit, they are committed. In our community we will have gamification, journeys, mastermind circle, letters to a future self, a wall of gratitude and more. Not all of this is going to come at once. Not all of it will be available to all members. There needs to be strategy on who to offer what to and when. As the founder, we will meet at least weekly or more to be sure that all of the ideas are properly vetted and implemented. You should feel supported and valued in this position. It is possible that if more than one person wants to do this work that we will have co-managers. The co-managers might not come to us at the same time, but we will make things work according to respective strengths and availability.
