A BETTER CHRISTMAS

A Better Christmas, Inc, (ABC) started in 2012 as a simple vision by our founder to collect funds to help children receive gifts on Christmas morning. Starting as just a penny drive, ABC was able to collect and donate funds to a hospital in 2012 and 2013 for the children during the Christmas season. A Better Christmas then switched donation sites to the Salvation Army during the Chronicle Telegram's Not Forgotten Box collection in 2014. Trying out new fundraisers yearly, ABC has done bake sales, toy drives, penny drives, T-Shirt sales, holiday sweets sales, raffles, and more. Continuing to develop new fundraisers and build relationships with new donors, A Better Christmas has been able to strive and pass almost every goal since 2014. In 2019, A Better Christmas wanted to branch out and help more than one organization. Due to the success of the organization in 2019, ABC was able to reach out to the local Toys for Tots chapter and donate to them as well. Continuing on with the Salvation Army and the Lorain County Toys for Tots in 2020, A Better Christmas was also able to participate in the Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child distribution to children overseas. Hoping to continue to grow, A Better Christmas officially became a non-profit organization in 2021 and is excited to see where this new journey takes the organization.
