Mission Statement

IAWH is a community-based, 501 c 3, organization, founded in Prince William County, Virginia. Our mission is to broaden the understanding of women’s health beyond reproductive and sexual health, raising awareness and increasing knowledge about a woman as a whole person, considering her sociology and the many social determinants that can impact health and wellness.

Description

  • IAWH has been able to persevere through the COVID pandemic serving the DC, MD, and VA metro area.

    • Developed and hosted more than 14 women’s health and wellness programs
