Mission Statement

The mission is to show the love and compassion of Christ to our local communities through strategic outreaches and programs, designed to meet needs and leave people with a sense of love and dignity. The vision is to be a beacon of light, hope and equality for the underserved and underrepresented throughout the world.

Description

God’s Blessings Plan offers basic necessities to those most vulnerable in communities throughout Long Island and all 5 boroughs of New York City. We have also started adding job fairs to our distributions and are working on putting together a financial literacy program that is specifically tailored to address the trauma induced by poverty. Our goal is to meet the immediate need so the people we serve can focus on long term advancement.
The most important aspect for us in general is to show the love and compassion of Christ to everyone we meet. We are to be the hands and feet of Christ on this Earth and every word we communicate to those we serve should be engulfed in that love and compassion. We have been honored by The Mayor’s Office, Congress, Senators, Council members, Assemblymen and media outlets in the work that we have done in the community. We started with 50 blessings bags in 2018 to serving 20,000 individuals today in 2021 and are looking to continue our growth.
