Mission: At Divine Light World, our mission is to promote the teachings of the Vedas as taught by our Guru - Shri Ashutosh Maharaji. This will include health and wellbeing of individuals by teaching yoga and mindfulness meditation practices. Job overview: If you want to earn more writing and content development skills while helping a noble cause, this opportunity is for you. We are looking for a person with at least a year of writing, communications, or content creation expertise to work with a few committees for roughly 5-10 hours per week to draft or edit their messaging before posting it to our newly updated website. Candidates will also need to come up with new ideas and concepts to expand the present target market and consumer niche. Core Responsibilities: Assist us in preparing communications for our big launch of our new website Write copy for flyers, brochures, press releases, event pitches, or websites Keep track of hours spent and record monthly Regularly check in every two weeks to learn about our forthcoming content requirements Qualifications/requirements: Be able to communicate updates, questions, and issues with the board members proactively through written and spoken communication. Multi-channel writing and communications A self-driven, well-organized, and adaptable person with a love of yoga, meditation, spirituality, and who is proficient with apps and technology. 1+ years of writing, communications, or content marketing experience Work closely with the blogger to create content for newsletters and blogs. Writing and reviewing content for websites, social media pages, and public communications. Making sure the content complies with copyright and data protection rules by writing and reviewing content for websites, social media pages, and public communications.
