The Working On Wellness Foundation provides FREE online seated exercise sessions, live via Zoom or on YouTube, created and conducted by our experienced and certified instructors. All can be done while remaining seated. They include cardio, upper body, lower body, core, balance, coordination, and hand exercises. And all of our live Zoom sessions begin with 15 minutes of social chat time. Currently, our live Zoom sessions are on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings. We are looking for people who want to host our exercise sessions at other times of the day or week. Hosts MUST be friendly, empathetic, totally nonjudgemental, but encouraging. Our exercises are designed for people who cannot do traditional standing or floor exercises. These include people with conditions like Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease, varying kinds of arthritis, and seniors. We emphasize that each participant should do what they are safely able to do. We never call anyone out for anything -- except doing something that offends or hurts other participants. Many people have conditions that require exercise just to keep their bodies moving. But they are or have been embarrassed, frustrated, or lack motivation. We KNOW that exercising with friends, especially friends who are similar in age, background, etc., makes it a lot easier. Both to start and continue. That's why we start each of our sessions with at least 15 minutes of chat time. Many of our current participants admit that they don't want to miss talking with friends. The exercise part becomes easier with time. Our hosts would greet each participant by name, although we do allow ghost/lurkers. And try to keep the conversations moving and encouraging. Then the host will play a pre-recorded exercise session. Training is mandatory.

We are looking for volunteers to extract short videos from our long full session videos. These videos will be used on TikTok, Facebook Reels, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and others to introduce and attract people to our Free Seated Exercise program. Volunteers would be able to work on their own schedule and with their own equipment and applications. Although we may be able to provide an upgraded version of video editing applications if that becomes needed. The volunteer would have access to our library of exercise videos including the most recent as soon as it is ready. The volunteer would extract one or more short sections, edit it, and produce short videos. To start, those videos will be uploaded to our server for our review and publishing. If the volunteer relationship and video quality grows, the volunteer may come to have the responsibility for publishing in the future.
