Mission Statement
We envision a community where transportation is available to everyone. We provide transportation to health, wellness and critical needs destinations utilizing volunteers for anyone who has barriers to transportation. Our volunteer drivers use their own vehicles, set their own hours and are reimbursed the Federal rate of $0.56 per mile, the reimbursement begins when you get into your vehicle.

Independence
The Volunteer Transportation Center will provide transportation to citizens in need, allowing them to maintain higher levels of independence.
Efficiency
Timely and accurate transportation scheduling will achieve maximum client satisfaction while maintaining the lowest cost per mile.
Quality
Volunteer Drivers will provide friendly and helpful service to clients, striving for the highest overall quality of transport experience.
Dignity
Client dignity will be maintained and all clients will be treated as individuals with respect to specific needs and services.
Responsive
Critical transportation services will be given the highest priority. All transports require 48 hours notice and will be scheduled as soon as requests are made. Volunteer Drivers will be assigned immediately.
