Mission Statement
Inspiring boys and men coming from absent father homes to become great, balanced, and stable men.
Description
Young Warriors is a leadership mentoring non profit program that has been serving the Los Angeles area for about a decade. Young Warriors strengthens and prepares boys and men coming from absent father homes and unfair circumstances to be productive members of society and thrive in their lives. We support the family as a whole. They often come up against an undeserved number of obstacles that include living in poverty, unsafe communities, and other traumatic situations. Facing these challenges is hard especially without a consistent and supportive father figure. The Young Warriors program interrupts the cycle of distrust and hopelessness by committing long term to each boy and providing them with positive adult male role models or mentors who care. We train, guide, and inspire progression toward education and authentic manhood.
