Mission Statement
HHM is a Non Governmental Organization (NGO) for children in crisis situations who need a safe refuge, assistance, an intervention, trauma informed care, psychosocial support, medical help and someone to advocate for their rights. HHM believes that children belong in families and so we work hard at family preservation whenever possible and after exhausting every effort to keep a child in their biological family or in Kinship care, we support adoption, both domestic and international.
Description
We have two residential homes. In the Children’s Home we offer alternative family style, residential care where children can stay until they can be reunited with their families or until they are adopted or learn to live independently.
In Children's Recovery Unit we offer specialized medical care for children who are at various stages of recovery from serious illnesses and in need of a safe place to live temporarily near the hospital.
The Community Program of Helping Hands Healing Hearts Ministries or TCP was created for the purpose of helping sick children within the community whose parents, guardians, or institutions, lack the resources to provide for their medical needs.
