Mission Statement

Humanely reducing the free-roaming cat population in Beltsville, MD.

Description

Beltsville Community Cats (BCC) is a coalition of local volunteers working in various capacities to disrupt the free-roaming cat cycle in this suburb of Washington, D.C.. In order to humanely reduce the feral cat population, BCC implements a targeted Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR) program. However, the work has expanded to include colony caregiving, training clinics for volunteers, and educational outreach to a diverse community. In response to an epidemic of dumped and reproducing outdoor cats, BCC established a foster network and runs a kitten rescue program for the 20705 zip code.
