Mission Statement

Founded in 1984, DCVA became a nonprofit watershed organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in and around the Darby Creek watershed by restoring and protecting its natural, historical, and cultural resources.

Description

For the past 37 years DCVA has been dedicated to creating a cleaner, more beautiful region through education and community involvement. Our programs keep the community informed on environmental issues, organize volunteers to plant trees and rain gardens, clean up trash, provide youth and adult educational programs and conduct studies of our local water quality.
