Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue

Give a Dog a Home is primarily a dog rescue that has recently started helping to save cats and kittens too. We are also working on some community projects the main one being "GaDaH - FEED the NEED Pet Pantry" Piscataquis county is rural and has many low income families, seniors and people that cannot always afford heating though the winter. We are working to provide services to help families manage their pets food and needs giving them one less thing to worry about, whilst the threat and worry of having to give up their loved pet often lingers.

We have a shuttle bus and can provide a delivery service and will be looking into the need of veterans and any homeless people also.

In February 2022 we will be celebrating 11 years and are looking for ways to expand out help out into the community and also bring the community into the rescue - so each can help each other.
