Mills River Rescue is dedicated to finding forever homes for horses, donkeys, and ponies in need.
Description
Mills River Rescue and Sanctuary rescues horses, ponies, and donkeys from kill pens, neglect situations, and homes where the owners are no longer able to tend to them. The animals are cared for while they decompress and regain their emotional and physical health. Equines that are adopted out are monitored to insure a successful placement, and those that cannot be adopted are lovingly provided for at the farm for the remainder of their lives.
