Mission Statement

To serve Carroll county Maryland by presenting the best in arts programming, classes, exhibits and creative placemaking.

Description

The Carroll County Arts Council presents over 50 productions a year at the Arts Center located at 91 West Main Street in Westminster. CCAC also has an aggressive program to take arts experiences of all kinds into the Carroll County schools. Volunteer opportunities can include managing hospitality for artists to managing the box office or greeting visitors to the exhibit gallery. CCAC also produces several large events a year such as the Gallery of gifts and Festival of Wreaths which traditionally run from Thanksgiving into the first week of December. CCAC's biggest and most colorful event might be The Peep Show which is held prior to Easter. This is an especially heavy volunteer event. We make every effort to keep the volunteer positions fun and engaging without becoming too overwhelming.
